Long Time, No Blog

I've been a terrible blogger, and you've missed a lot!

Let me catch you all up to date..

Have you ever had one of those weeks that felt as if it just might never end?

Well, that was mine last week. 

Lets just say that you might really have appreciated my blogging absence.

I just got back into Birmingham today.  I went to visit friends in Vicksburg on Friday night and had an absolute blast! Some of my dear friends Blair and Josh bought a house last summer and I'm just now getting around to seeing it! It was absolutely precious and I can't wait to go back and visit again soon! I also got to meet the new addition to their family, little Lucy! It was so great getting to catch up with them both, I just wish that I had pictures to show for the trip!

I was in Dallas Saturday and returned home yesterday.  To say that we had fun would be an understatement! It was soo great getting to see some of my good friends! I absolutely had a blast and was not ready to leave!  Saturday night when I arrived, Sara, Trey, and Adam all had the champagne waiting! We went to dinner, out in Uptown, and of course late night!  Sunday, Sara's family had a cookout at their house.  Monday, I had two interviews and met with a few companies; I met some friends for lunch and went out again with friends Monday night.  I had two interviews before I left on Tuesday and met up with Brad for lunch.  It was so great getting to catch up with everyone!! What a fun trip it was!

Today has been busy if you couldn't imagine.  I got into Birmingham this morning, went into work, cleaned, and you guessed it...started back running!  The question at the end of each day is now, "Couch or 5k?" Today was 5k, we will see what tomorrow brings!

On another note, remember my dad in your prayers.  He hasn't been feeling well; last week he underwent tests for Lymphoma.  Thus far, everything has come back clear but he still has a few more to go.  I was in Meridian last night and will be back there again this weekend.
