The Countdown Has Begun!

Only 5 days until Christmas, and I still have presents to buy! Thankfully, the two calendars arrived this week and they could not be more perfect!! After I posted one of the calendars below, I realized that I have it set to private so I am the only one that can view it. Maybe I will change that soon.
I have been extremely busy this week. I have worked everyday and we have been super busy! It seems, however, as though the only way that I can remember to do things is to write them on my hand. My to-do-list is becoming a little lengthy and somehow my to-do-list on paper tends to get thrown away on a daily basis. Needless to say, I know my hands look completely ridiculous by the end of the day. Just the other day I had a brilliant idea to write it on my arm considering I wear long-sleeve shirts and no one would know. What has my life come to? Either I'm getting old or short of memory very early on in life. And with that being said, I really do have a good memory; I just have to make extra sure that everything gets ordered for my customers before Christmas. I wouldn't want to be responsible for the "Christmas that never came" at someone's home Christmas morning.
I did go to a Christmas party in Gainsville, Alabama last night though. A guy that I graduated from high school with has a Christmas party at his riverhouse each year, and this is the first year that I have been able to go considering work usually gets in the way this time of the year. Words cannot describe just how much fun was had at this party. So many of my friends that I graduated with were there, and I had an absolute blast getting to catch up with them! However, this morning was not much fun. I woke up at 8:30 to be able to make it to work. I purposely took my car so that I would be able to leave early this morning and make it in to work on time. Well let's just say I got a little lost, a little being quite an understatement. An hour and a half later, very little battery left in my phone, and no battery left in my GPS, I arrived safe and sound in Meridian. I've never been so happy to see the "Welcome to Mississippi" sign and a little civilization before in my life. The whole hour I was lost in Sumter County, I had no cell phone service, a dead GPS battery, no remote sign of civilization, no road signs, no major highway or intersection, and absolutely NO convenient store (let alone any other kind of store). I was a little worried to say the least. But no worries, I found my way home!
Thank goodness I have tomorrow off. I have zero plans for being productive.
