Happy Easter!!

I hope that you all had a fabulous Easter weekend!

I spent Thursday in Tuscaloosa, and the weekend in Meridian. Last night, I went to a crawfish boil at a friends and today we had both my mom and dad's families over for lunch (and my mom's birthday). I headed back to B'ham tonight with my sweet little Sophie. She was much better than expected, on our journey back that is! Her last (long) car ride was over six months ago. Today, I put her in her carrier (in which she absolutely despises) and she only yapped(okay it's more of a very high pitch shriek) for about 15 min. She has been super sweet all day with the exception of her being extremely clingy. Any advice?

She is normally very good at adjusting to new places, but this time she hasn't. I left to run a few errands tonight (a few hours after we got home) and I ended up having to take her with me; she just wouldn't stop whining when I left. Tonight I watched a movie and she snuggled right up beside me through the whole thing, and she is currently snuggled right up next to me in the bed. She will not sleep in her own bed, in which is on the floor right beside me.

In all honesty, I'm extremely allergic to her and all of her fur, but I just ignore that, take something for it, and go on about my day (b/c I love her of course!). But I do have a white down comforter, and I just really don't care for all of her black hair on it, not to mention that sleeping in the bed has never really gone over well for the two of us in the past. Any suggestions?

I've got a meeting at work in the morning, I'm crossing my fingers she has "adapted" by then! If not, I'm in for it..I just can't take all of her whimpering!
